Snakes on a Plane. If you haven't heard about the movie, you need to visit the internet a little more. Anyway, I was just searching for a movie poster to add to my collection (and can't find one -- anyone know where I might?) and came across a quote from the star of the film, Samuel L. Jackson, in regards to the efforts to change the title of the film last year:

"We're totally changing that back. That's the only reason I took the job: I read the title."

There is no one cooler than this man, I tip my Kongol to him.

an excuse

I know that I've been a very bad blogger for the past couple months and for most of that time I haven't had much of an excuse for it...just blogger fatigue I guess. In any case, I just have to offer up a real excuse (and gush a bit). You regular readers will hopefully be excited for me: I found someone.

No details right now, I don't want to jinx this. We've been spending a lot of time together though and I think we're both amazed at how comfortable we are, how instantly we've connected, how much snogging two people can tolerate night after night after night...

It's been a little while since I've read a good ol' American fear and paranoia piece, but then came this, panic over a suspected (and extremely well-labelled) bomb. I can't understand the paranoia that leads to situations like this...

i am alive

I'm sorry I haven't bothered to post lately...life has been hectic. In the past two weeks I've had a 20-page, 15-page, 5-page, and two 2-page papers due. Oh, and I started working again to add to my class schedule. Yes, you can feel pity for me if you'd like.

Tomorrow it should all be over though...except my exciting two weeks will end with me having to tell one, maybe two, people that they don't have jobs. I gotta tell you, that sucks more than the rest of it.

Anyway, yeah, I'm still alive, just really, really, really busy.
